The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme has called for collective efforts by Deltans at home and in the diaspora to develop the state.
Sir Onyeme made the call while officially inaugurating Sky Favour Hotel, Oleh in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Deputy Governor noted that the business venture was a significant step towards economic development and job creation, which underscored the government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for investment and growth across the state.
The Deputy Governor assured investors of the state government’s commitment to providing a conducive atmosphere for businesses to thrive.
Sir Onyeme asserted that any Deltan who brings his or her money back to the state to invest will not have any reason to regret his or her action.
The Director-General of Revenue Monitoring, Tracking and Audit, Chief Mike Edegware, who chaired the occasion, lauded the state government for creating the enabling environment for investors to establish various forms of businesses in the state.
The Managing Director/CEO of Sky Favour Hotel, Mr Peter Idhugwe, in his welcome address read by his daughter, Favour Idhugwe noted that, situating the hotel in Oleh will open doors to untapped potentials like attracting visitors to the famous Isoko festivals, cultural events, and for visitors to experience the warm hospitality of the people.
