Former Chairman of Warri North Local Government, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his double award as Outstanding Independent Governor and Best Independent Governor in Urban Renewal of the Year 2025 by the Independent Newspapers.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu described the recognition as well-deserved, noting that the Governor’s pragmatic leadership and commitment to infrastructural development have continued to transform communities across Delta State.
He commended Governor Oborevwori for his focused approach to governance, particularly in the area of urban renewal, which he said has significantly improved the living standards of residents and enhanced the aesthetic appeal of cities within the state.
Okorodudu further noted that the awards serve as a testament to the Governor’s dedication, hard work, and unwavering resolve to deliver on his mandate, adding that such honours would inspire greater performance in the years ahead.
The former council boss also praised the Governor’s inclusive leadership style, which he said has created a sense of belonging among the people, while fostering peace, unity, and sustainable development across the state.
He expressed confidence that under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, Delta State would continue to witness remarkable progress and consolidation of ongoing developmental strides.
Hon. Okorodudu therefore wished the Governor continued success, good health, and greater accomplishments in his service to the people of Delta State.
