The Rector of Delta State Maritime Polytechnic, Burutu, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his two-year anniversary in office, commending his outstanding leadership and the visible transformation recorded under his administration.

In a statement issued on Friday through the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Chief Kambofa A. Party, the Rector described Governor Oborevwori as a “transformational builder and visionary industrialist” who has redefined governance in Delta State through strategic infrastructural development, economic empowerment initiatives, and inclusive leadership.

He lauded the governor’s unwavering commitment to the MORE Agenda, Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security, noting that the impact of the agenda is evident in the improved road networks, modernized schools, upgraded healthcare facilities, and the creation of employment opportunities across the state’s three senatorial districts.

“Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated exceptional commitment to progress. His administration is a clear example of purposeful leadership rooted in vision, accountability, and inclusivity. In just two years, he has brought renewed hope to the people of Delta State,” the Rector stated.

He further expressed confidence that the governor will continue to build on these achievements in the years ahead, consolidating on the foundations already laid to advance development and good governance.

The Rector also appreciated the staff and students of Delta State Maritime Polytechnic for their unwavering support for the policies of the Oborevwori-led administration and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He urged the polytechnic community to remain steadfast in aligning with the principles of the MORE Agenda, which he said has brought meaningful change to Deltans through youth empowerment, infrastructural growth, and inclusive governance.

He conclud’d by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Governor Oborevwori as he continues to lead Delta State on a path of prosperity and sustainable development.
