The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed that train operations on the Warri-Itakpe route will resume on April 30, 2025.

The service was previously suspended on April 10 due to technical issues, including repeated engine failures.

After conducting repairs, the NRC has assured passengers of smooth travel, with trains running six days a week (Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday).

Thursdays will be reserved for maintenance work.

Passengers who requested refunds have received their money, while others can reschedule their trips via the NRC’s online ticket platform.

The corporation thanked passengers for their patience and promised improved service.
