PENGASSAN ND WESTERN OML 34 ASSET BRANCH HOLDS 1st TRIENNIAL CONFERENCE, ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association, PENGASSAN ND Western OML 34 Asset Branch has held her inaugural Triannial Conference at Udu, with an election of new executive.

In his welcome address, Chairman PENGASSAN ND Western Branch, Comrade Godwin Awoviebe said the conference marked a milestone for the branch as it provides a platform to deliberate on issues of critical importance to the energy sector and Nigeria.

He said the theme of the conference captures the essence of what the union strive for as stakeholders in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

Comrade Godwin Awoviebe explained that the vision of the ND Western’s vision is to become Africa’s prefered energy company, driving transformation through expert oil and gas operations that deliver value to stakeholders and it’s host communities.

National Public Relations Officer of PENGASSAN, Comrade Kingsley Udoidua delivered a keynote address on the theme of the conference, “Safe Operations, Happy Workers and Thriving Industry, The role of PENGASSAN in Energy Sustainability for Nation Building while the branch Secretary, Comrade Hope Ibor presented the Secretariat report at the event.

The conference was climaxed with presentation of certificates of awards and recognition of some outstanding personalities including the Warri Zonal Chairman of PENGASSAN Comrade Nwanagum Jeli, election and subsequent swearing in of new executive of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association, PENGASSAN ND Western OML 34 Asset Branch led by Comrade Godwin Awoviebe.
