Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Niger Delta Affairs and Braced Commission, Hon. Griftson Omatsuli, has applauded stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their unanimous decision to adopt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as the party’s sole candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in an interview, Hon. Griftson Omatsuli commended the uncommon unity and political maturity displayed by APC leaders and stakeholders across the country, describing their decision as a clear demonstration of loyalty, trust, and belief in visionary leadership.
He said the collective endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori speaks volumes of the confidence the party has in their ability to sustain the gains of democratic governance and further consolidate on ongoing development efforts.
Hon Griftson Omatsuli stressed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to exhibit uncommon courage, wisdom, and resilience in repositioning Nigeria for economic prosperity and infrastructural transformation, while Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has remained a model of humility, inclusiveness, and people-centered governance in Delta State.
The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Niger Delta Affairs and Braced Commission, urged members of the APC and indeed all Nigerians to rally behind these leaders as symbols of hope and continuity, adding that their combination represents stability, peace, and progress for the nation.
He further expressed optimism that the joint endorsement would foster greater political cohesion, strengthen intergovernmental collaboration, and deepen the foundations of democracy.
