BISHOP AKPOCHA IGBIGBISIE HAILS OBARISI OMO-AGEGE FOR CHAMPIONING DEVELOPMENT IN DELTA STATE

As Nigerians continue to bask in the euphoria of twenty-six years of unbroken democracy, a Delta based religious minister and Bishop of City of Prayers Ministry International Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Bishop Christopher Akpocha Igbigbisie has hailed Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege for his contributions towards sustaining the nation’s democracy and impactful and qualitative representation as Deputy President of the Senate.

Bishop Christopher Akpocha Igbigbisie in a statement noted that, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege played a major role in building the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State to an enviable height and as such could be refered to as the father of APC in Delta State.

He noted that, his unwavering support to President Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party in the 2023 general elections yielded positive results as he was able to lead the party to win two Senatorial, one House of Representatives and several State House of Assembly seats as well as garner substantial amount of votes for President Bola Tinubu.

The Agbarho based clergyman disclosed that the transformative tenure of Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege at the Red Chamber has stood him out as a leader par excellence.Bishop Christopher Akpocha Igbigbisie explained that, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege touched every community in his Constituency with both human and infrastructural developments during his tenure as Deputy Senate President.

He stressed that, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege in addition to providing transformers and streetlights to all the communities in his Constituency, ensured that all communities felt his development projects in the area of education by selecting at least one school from each local government area in Delta central for renovation and setting up of ICT centres.

Bishop Christopher Akpocha Igbigbisie further lauded Obarisi Omo-Agege for his love for the entire people of Delta State by attracting legacy projects to all parts of the state as well as spreading his appointments to party faithful across the Delta State.

The Bishop of City of Prayers Ministry International Agbarho, listed some of the projects to include, the Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Federal University of Medical Sciences Kwale, and the Defence Space School as well as various achievements in the health sector.

He congratulated Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege for his good works and undying support for President Bola Tinubu, noting that they are worthy of commendation.

Bishop Christopher Akpocha Igbigbisie noted that Obarisi Omo-Agege is a man with a good heart that loves carrying everyone along, as exemplified when he lifted the hands of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori during his official defection to the APC at Asaba.

He called for synergy among all APC members and urged all to accord Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege his pride of place in the party.
