Chief Enetimi Government has formally declared his intention to contest for the Burutu Constituency II seat in the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2027 elections.

The declaration came during his visit to leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Tuomo Ward Three, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

His arrival in Tuomo community attracted a large turnout, as children, youths, and women welcomed him with songs and dances, creating an atmosphere of excitement and support.

Chief Enetimi Government began his visit at his family home, where he received a warm reception from relatives and well-wishers before proceeding to meet party leaders and community members.

Addressing the gathering, he expressed a strong commitment to improving the living conditions of the people of Burutu Constituency II.

He stated that his decision to contest stems from his passion for development and service to the people.

He highlighted several initiatives he has undertaken across the constituency despite not holding any public office, including the installation of solar-powered street lights, provision of potable water, and empowerment programmes for residents.

Chief Enetimi Government called for the support of party members and the wider community, assuring them of effective representation and dedication to their welfare.

In their separate remarks, Chairman of APC Tuomo Ward Three, Mr. Nanah Bulouebi, and Chairman of Tuomo Federated Community, Hon. Samuel Tonkeme, commended his visit and described his ambition as timely and commendable.

They affirmed their total support, noting that Chief Enetimi Government has consistently demonstrated commitment to the development of the area even without occupying any political office.

The visit also featured courtesy calls to homes of community leaders and stakeholders, where he reiterated his intention and solicited support and prayers.

Community leaders offered prayers for his success, expressing confidence in his leadership and long-standing contributions to the growth of the constituency.
