The Ruling House of Ede Lineage of Edegbene Community in Seimbiri Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, has thrown its full support behind the aspiration of Mr. Joseph Edisemi Boson for the revered stool of the Ebenanaowei of Seimbiri Kingdom.

The endorsement was made known during a press briefing held within the community, where members of the lineage called on sons and daughters of Seimbiri Kingdom to rally behind his candidacy.

Speaking on behalf of the lineage, Mr. Sunday Felix stated that it is the rightful turn of the Ede lineage to produce the next Ebenanaowei, emphasizing that Mr. Joseph Edisemi Boson was carefully selected as their preferred candidate.

He affirmed that Mr. Boson is a direct descendant of Ede and a freeborn native of Edegbene community, urging the public to disregard what he described as false and defamatory claims circulating on social media questioning his origin and eligibility.

Mr. Felix maintained that Mr. Boson remains fully qualified to contest for the stool alongside other aspirants, stressing that his lineage and heritage firmly establish his legitimacy.

He also commended the Council of Chiefs of Seimbiri Kingdom and the Central Working Committee for their efforts so far, encouraging them to remain committed to a credible and successful selection process.

Other speakers at the briefing, including Nicholas Sasuode, Beer Balemo, Enana Kimaki, Lucky Eyiemiene, and Victoria Afesuku, unanimously described Mr. Joseph Edisemi Boson as a worthy son of the kingdom.

They reiterated that his emergence from Edegbene community further strengthens his eligibility to ascend the throne, expressing confidence in his capacity to lead.

The group also called on the screening committee to conduct a thorough and transparent process to ensure that only a qualified and deserving candidate emerges as the next Ebenanaowei.

They concluded by reaffirming their commitment to peace, unity, and respect for due process, pledging to remain law-abiding while supporting the progress and stability of Seimbiri Kingdom.
