The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Julius Takeme, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt.) King Joseph Timiyan, JP, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, Torububou the First, Agbonu, on the occasion of his forthcoming 20th Coronation Anniversary celebration.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the government and the good people of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Julius Takeme described the royal milestone as a moment of great joy and reflection, celebrating two decades of visionary leadership, peace, and purposeful development under the reign of the highly respected monarch.

He noted that King Timiyan’s reign has not only brought remarkable transformation to the Ogulagha Kingdom but has also strengthened unity, cultural pride, and traditional values among his people.

According to the Burutu local government council Chairman, the past twenty years have been characterized by the monarch’s exemplary commitment to the welfare of his subjects, his passion for community development, and his unrelenting efforts toward peace and progress within Burutu Local Government Area.

Hon. Takeme emphasized that the monarch’s leadership style, marked by humility, wisdom, and fairness, has continued to earn him admiration across Delta State and beyond.

He added that King Timiyan’s interventions in promoting education, youth empowerment, and infrastructural growth within his domain have created lasting impacts that will be remembered for generations.

While commending the monarch for his steadfastness in upholding the dignity of the traditional institution, Hon. Takeme described His Majesty as a father figure whose guidance and counsel have helped in fostering collaboration between the traditional and political leadership in the area.

The Council Boss prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon His Majesty, asking that the Almighty grant him long life, strength, and divine wisdom to continue to lead the Ogulagha Kingdom in peace, harmony, and greater prosperity.
