Chairman of Burutu Local Government, Hon Julius Takeme, has applauded stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their unanimous decision to adopt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, as the party’s sole candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists, Hon Julius Takeme described the adoption as a bold and strategic step that underscores the unity, foresight, and collective confidence of the APC family in the purposeful leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.
He noted that President Tinubu has continued to display exceptional vision in steering the affairs of the nation, implementing far-reaching economic reforms that are setting the stage for long-term national prosperity.
Hon Julius Takeme also commended Governor Oborevwori for his commitment to inclusive governance, whose MORE Agenda has translated into tangible infrastructural growth, social stability, and empowerment across Delta State.
The Burutu Council Boss urged party members, leaders, and supporters to remain steadfast and focused on sustaining the tempo of progress already set in motion.
He reaffirmed his belief that the joint leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori holds the promise of a more united, developed, and prosperous Nigeria and Delta State.
