MURKY, BUT NOT UNCHARTED – DELTA’S APC – DR ALLISON OGIDIGBEN

APC Chieftain in Delta State, Dr Allison Ogidigben says he strongly believes that APC is large enough to accommodate the wave of defections from other parties to the APC, especially in Delta State.

Speaking in an interview, Dr Allison Ogidigben said he is of the opinion that APC is fast becoming the fastest growing party in Africa, going by the inflow of persons from different parties.

He stressed that with the wave of defections to APC, issues are bound to arise, as the complexity of politics, the pre-existing affiliations and the diversity of various political school of thought, comes into play.

The APC chieftain in Delta State said as it were, muscles may flex for positioning and recognition, but we must understand that today’s trend can be managed by yesterday’s knowledge of our political journey thus far.

Dr Allison Ogidigben added that the political science and administration scholar, endorses non-coercive approaches for integrating incoming members with existing teams, highlighting deliberative dialogue, mutual respect, inclusive practices, participatory frameworks, trust building exercises and shared goal alignment.

“Afterall, the goals of every well intended member is to increase the fold for Advancement of better opportunities and chances of dutiful engagement that leads to political victories for the party, most especially for President Bola Tinubu come 2027 election season, and by extension other elections at the sub-nationals.
