HOME BASE SUPER EAGLES DRAWN IN GROUP D WITH SENEGAL IN 2024 CHAN

The home-based Super Eagles will face holders Senegal, Congo and Sudan in Group D at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The draw ceremony took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesday night.

The Eagles are making a return to the biennial competition after a six-year absence.

Kenya, Morocco, Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia are in Group A.

In Group B are Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Central African Republic.

Co-hosts Uganda, Niger and Guinea are in Group C. They will be joined later by two other teams.

The competition which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda will start in August.
