WORKERS DAY: COMRADE JOHN GLOVER COMMENDS MEMBERS OF NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL FOR RESILIENCE

Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, Warri Chapel, Comrade John Glover has commended members of the Union for their resilience and commitment to work.

Comrade John Glover who gave this commendation in his Workers Day Message, said members of the Union have carried out their duties of news coverage and reportage inspire of undaunting challenges in the work place, job hazard and harsh economy.

He urged members of the Union to remain committed to work and uphold the ethics of the profession.

Comrade John Glover commended the management and Board of Directors of DBS Warri for their efforts in steering the affairs of the establishment, urging them to give priority to workers welfare and liaise with Delta State Government and relevant stakeholders inorder to upgrade facilities at the station.

He hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his development strides across the state and commitment to workers welfare.

Comrade John Glover appealed to Governor Oborevwori to upgrade facilities in DBS Warri, to enable members of the Union function uptimally.

He wished members of the NUJ DBS Warri Chapel a happy workers day and assured them of his commitment to their welfare.
