A member of the Concern Ex Agitators, Christopher Agbedikuru, has allegedly accused leaders of the Third Phase of Ex Agitators of failing in their duties, and allowing their conscience to be bought.

He made the alleged accusation in a statement made available newsmen, and signed by him.

According to Christopher Agbedikuru, in a scathing assessment from the forefront of the Niger Delta ex-agitators, discontent is brewing against the Phase 3 leaders and their supposed allegiance to Dennis Otuaro, the head of the Amnesty Program.

Christopher Agbedikuru said further that as representatives of the grassroots struggles of the region, the Phase 3 leaders have turned into mere puppets, collecting “peanuts” while failing to address the pressing concerns of beneficiaries they claim to represent.

He alleged also that in stark contrast to the true beneficiaries of the Niger Delta, who once fought valiantly in the creeks, Dennis Otuaro appear to be nothing more than figure of convenience, stoking divisions instead of fostering unity among ex-agitators.

Christopher Agbedikuru informed that the Phase 3 leaders recent vote of confidence for Otuaro, a man accused of neglecting the welfare of beneficiaries and making fake camps payment for financial gain, raises serious questions about their integrity and effectiveness.

He said under Otuaro’s leadership, complaints about payment delays and unresolved BVN-related issues have only escalated.

Furthermore, the member of the Concern Ex Agitators added that credible reports surface of ex-agitators who have yet to receive vital training—a cornerstone promise of the Amnesty Program.

Christopher Agbedikuru complained that instead of addressing the genuine grievances of the delegates, the leaders are content to host fruitless meetings, displaying a troubling lack of accountability and commitment.

Christopher Agbedikuru stressed that it is time for president Bola Tinubu to replace Otuaro’s role as the head of this critical initiative, adding that the current trajectory under his administration is perilous, potentially leading to the complete degradation of the Amnesty Program, which was designed to uplift and unite the fractured community of ex-agitators.

While calling for the removal of Dennis Otuaro by President Tinubu, Christopher Agbedikuru added that it’s time for a refreshing change that will genuinely benefit the Niger Delta people and fulfill the promises made to its brave sons and daughters.

He stressed that Niger Delta urgently need a leader who prioritizes our needs and can unite us—not one who treats us as an afterthought.
