UDU TRADITIONAL COUNCIL OF CHIEFS ASSURES OF PEACE, UNITY ACROSS THE KINGDOM

Members of the Udu Traditional Council of Chiefs have declared their unflinching commitment to the actualization of total peace and unity in the kingdom that will fast track the rapid socio economic development of the kingdom.

The Udu Council chairman Olorogun Vincent Oyibode who made the resolve of the newly reconstituted Udu traditional council of Chiefs, while addressing journalists at the end of their meeting held at the temporary palace of the Ovie of Udu, Owhoru the first, at Aladja Community disclosed that representatives from the seven ruling houses of the kingdom also pledge their unalloyed loyalty to the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, Owhoru the first.

The Udu Council Chairman, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode flanked by other members disclosed that members of the Udu Council of Chiefs and the traditional ruler are now better united as they have all resolved to champion and promote virtue that will strengthen the bond of unity amongst them and promote peace for the overall development of the kingdom.

Olorogun Oyibode who described the maiden meeting of the newly reconstituted Udu council of Chiefs as historic called on all Udu sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora to close ranks, always speak with one voice and only support initiatives geared towards promoting the rapid social economic development of the kingdom under the rulership of Owhoru the first.

While calling on all to rally round the Udu traditional ruler as also agreed at the meeting, the Udu council boss called all media practitioners particularly in social media to always use their write up to promote positive narratives about Udu kingdom in order to woo investors to invest in the kingdom.

He warned those nursing the idea to carve another kingdom out of the existing Udu kingdom to desist from such an idea noting that Udu remains one indivisible kingdom with Owhoru the first as the traditional ruler.

The chairman of Udu local Government, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode equally disclosed that a unity party will be held on Saturday this week at the temporary palace of the Ovie of Udu kingdom, Owhoru the first.
