CHAIRMAN BURUTU LOCAL GOVERNMENT HON JULIUS TAKEME MOURNS THE PASSING OF CHIEF EDWIN CLARK, A GREAT ICON OF THE NIGER DELTA

Chairman Burutu Local Government, Hon Julius Takeme, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Edwin Clark, a distinguished leader and an iconic figure in both the Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.

In his condolence message, Hon Julius Takeme described Chief Clark as a man of exceptional character, whose remarkable leadership and contributions have left an indelible mark on the region and the nation at large.

Hon Takeme lauded Chief Clark for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Niger Delta, his relentless advocacy for the rights of the people, and his inspirational role as a mentor to many.

He highlighted that Chief Clerk’s legacy of integrity, wisdom, and selfless service to the Niger Delta would continue to inspire future generations.

On behalf of the good people of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon Julius Takeme extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Chief Edwin Clark.

He also acknowledged the profound loss felt by the people of the Niger Delta, recognizing Chief Clark as a towering figure whose presence will be deeply missed.
