Member Representing Warri South Constituency One in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Austin Uroye, has congratulated the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his emergence as Governor of the year 2024 by THISDAY Newspaper and Arise Television.

In his congratulatory message, Hon Austin Uroye described Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as a blessing to the state, saying that the state has been enjoying rapid development since his assumption of office.

He said the visionary leadership of Governor Oborevwori has no doubt brought about significant advancements in various sectors across the state, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic growth.

The State House of Assembly Member while highlighting some achievements of the state Governor, mentioned that the Governor has implemented various initiatives, including restructuring the state’s public service, approving payments for public personnel and retirees, and providing ex-gratia stipends for civil servants.

He also mentioned that the Governor has Initiated numerous road projects, empowered over 200,000 youths, provided grants to traders and artisans, invested in employee development, allocating funds for housing and vehicle loans, and employing new teaching and non-teaching staff to address labor shortages, not for getting the installation of solar power street lights across the state, amongst others.

While congratulating him on his well deserved award as best Governor of the year 2024 by THISDAY Newspaper and Arise Television, Hon Austin Uroye prayed for God’s guidance and strength to do more for Deltans.
