Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori says the state would witness enhanced delivery of more infrastructure in 2025.

Governor Oborevwori disclosed this during the inspection of projects within Asaba and the state capital territory, saying that he would embark on more inspections and inauguration of projects in the state this New Year.

Speaking at the proposed Asaba International Market, Governor Oborevwori said he decided to pay an unscheduled visit to some of the projects to see things for himself after his Sunday church service.

The unscheduled visit to the Asaba International Market, according to the Governor was to ascertain the progress of work at the market.

He added that his administration would not sit in the office and approve projects without checking the performance of such projects.

Governor Oborevwori also revealed that the official groundbreaking of the Asaba international market project would be performed before the month ends.

He assured that the state capital territory was going to experience a facelift with the rehabilitation of the existing roads and construction of new ones

Governor Oborevwori also inspected the completed Gerald Onianwa Crescent, Odigwe Juwa Avenue, the storm drainage project under construction behind Asaba Specialist Hospital in Asaba, and another network of roads in Oshimili South and North Local Government Areas.
